Our Methodology

How CreatorFuse HQ estimates creator earnings, sources public statistics, and applies industry benchmarks.

Public Data Only

All creator statistics are sourced from official public platform APIs — no private data.

Industry Benchmarks

CPM rates are based on publicly reported ranges and creator-disclosed figures.

Clearly Labeled

All earnings figures are labeled as estimates throughout the site. Never presented as exact income.

Data Sources

CreatorFuse HQ uses official public platform data to display creator statistics:

  • YouTube: Official public YouTube Data API v3 for subscriber counts, view totals, channel details, and profile information.
  • TikTok, Instagram, Twitch: Representative data from public platform profiles and industry research databases (where available).

We do not scrape private data, access creator dashboards, or use unofficial data sources. All statistics reflect publicly available information accessible to any user visiting the platform.

How YouTube Earnings Are Estimated

YouTube ad revenue for creators is estimated using the following formula:

Monthly Ad Revenue = Monthly Estimated Views × Average RPM ÷ 1,000

RPM (Revenue Per Mille) is the actual revenue per 1,000 video views after YouTube's revenue share. Creators receive approximately 55% of ad revenue; YouTube retains 45%. We apply niche-specific RPM benchmarks based on publicly reported ranges from creators and industry research.

What Earnings Estimates Do Not Include

Our estimates only cover ad revenue from the platform's Partner Program. The following are not included:

  • Brand sponsorships and sponsored content
  • Merchandise and product sales
  • Channel memberships (YouTube), Subscriptions (Twitch), or paid content tiers
  • Super Chats, Super Thanks, Bits, or fan tips
  • Affiliate marketing commissions
  • Courses, books, or digital products
  • Off-platform income streams

For many top creators, these alternative revenue streams exceed ad revenue. Always interpret our estimates as a floor — not a ceiling — for total creator income.

Why Geography Affects Earnings

YouTube CPM varies significantly by audience geography. Advertisers pay more to reach audiences in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia — often 3–5x more than audiences in South Asia or Southeast Asia. A channel with identical view counts may earn very different amounts depending on where its audience is located. Our estimates use blended average CPM rates that may not reflect the specific geographic mix of any individual creator's audience.

Seasonal Variation

YouTube CPM is highest in Q4 (October–December) due to holiday advertising spend, often 30–50% above the annual average. CPM is typically lowest in Q1 (January–February). Our estimates use annual average CPM rates and do not reflect seasonal fluctuations.

All earnings figures on CreatorFuse HQ are estimates, not verified income. They are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Do not use these estimates for financial, tax, or legal decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the earnings shown exact figures?

No. All earnings shown on CreatorFuse HQ are estimates based on publicly available view counts and industry-average CPM benchmarks. They are directional ranges — not exact income reported by creators or platforms.

Where do subscriber and follower counts come from?

Subscriber and follower counts are sourced from official public platform data APIs (such as the YouTube Data API for YouTube channels). These reflect the most recently available public statistics.

Why might the estimate differ from what a creator has reported?

Our estimates cover ad revenue only. Creators typically earn additional income from brand sponsorships, merchandise, channel memberships, Super Chats, affiliate marketing, and other off-platform revenue. These sources are not captured in our estimates.

How often is data updated?

Creator statistics are cached for up to 6 hours for profiles and 12 hours for list pages. CPM benchmarks are reviewed periodically and updated to reflect current market conditions.
